The Michelin Guide Vietnam 2026 ceremony announcing the selected dining establishments will be held on June 4 at The Ascott Tay Ho hotel in Hanoi, unveiling the latest list of venues recognized by Michelin Guide Vietnam.
The 2026 event marks the fourth time the Michelin Guide has been organized in Vietnam and highlights a continually evolving culinary landscape across three cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. It also coincides with the global culinary community’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Michelin star.
Since the Michelin Star system was introduced in 1926, the Michelin Guide has recognized restaurants delivering exceptional dining experiences. The selected venues for 2026 will bring together chefs, management teams or owners, industry experts, representatives from Michelin’s official partners, and media to celebrate Vietnam’s culinary community.
After the official announcement of the selected venues, the program will include a premium cocktail reception and a live broadcast designed to reach a wider audience. Following the success of the 2025 edition, the event continues to serve as a platform for networking and inspiration among chefs and operators across the three cities.
In 2025, the MICHELIN Guide honored 181 restaurants across Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. The guide’s annual selections in these cities are presented as an exclusive recognition of dining establishments and their sustained performance.
This year’s ceremony also features guest chefs from multiple countries in the region, bringing additional culinary perspectives to the event. Named examples include:
All dining venues on the selected list will continue to be evaluated and ranked by MICHELIN Guide anonymous inspectors using five global criteria: ingredient quality; cooking technique; flavor harmony; the chef’s personality expressed through the dish; and consistency of dishes over time and across the menu.
The event also includes a unique culinary program featuring MICHELIN-starred chefs.
