Anthropic has rolled out a major upgrade for Claude Design, turning it from a trial into an enterprise platform. Claude Design now shares quotas with other products and reduces average token consumption per interaction. It also allows importing a design system from GitHub or internal files to ensure enterprise branding compliance. The redesigned interface enables a round-trip workflow with Claude Code: designers can prototype from real component libraries and push directly to Claude Code for implementation, while developers can edit designs within the code environment, reducing drift between design and final product. Anthropic also added nine new publishing partners such as Adobe, Canva, Miro, and Vercel. Claude Design is now the starting point, with partner platforms handling refinement and deployment. The strategy is hub-and-spoke, aimed at competing with open-source Open Design projects while leveraging enterprise collaboration networks.
