On 9/5/2026, Vietnam’s fuel market showed mixed movement across product lines, while international crude prices turned upward after renewed US–Iran conflict headlines.
Domestic prices (VND/liter) varied by product and region. DO 0,001S-V fell to 28,750 (Region 1) and 29,320 (Region 2), down 680 VND/liter. DO 0,05S-II also declined to 27,490 and 28,030, down 680 VND/liter.
Gasoline prices were higher: E5 RON 92 rose to 23,790 (Region 1) and 24,260 (Region 2), up 1,170 VND/liter. RON 95 increased to 24,350 and 24,830 (up 600 VND/liter) for RON 95-III, and to 25,250 and 25,750 (up 600 VND/liter) for RON 95-V.
Meanwhile, kerosene declined: Kerosene 2-K fell to 30,450 (Region 1) and 31,050 (Region 2), down 1,530 VND/liter.
International crude strengthened. Brent was 100.49 USD/barrel, up from the previous day’s 102.39 (7 days ago: 108.17; 30 days: not provided). WTI was 94.68 USD/barrel, down from the previous day’s 97.08 (7 days ago: 101.94; 30 days: not provided).

Domestic pricing updates also referenced gasoline becoming cheaper versus earlier peaks and diesel continuing to soften in recent adjustments.
