On June 16, 2026, Market Surveillance Team No. 16 transferred a case file showing signs of criminal activity to the police for investigation within its jurisdiction. The case concerns nearly 18,000 counterfeit devices bearing the Apple brand detected at a business facility in Viet Hung ward, Hanoi, with the total estimated value of the infringing goods at about 880 million dong.
Previously, Team No. 16, in cooperation with Viet Hung Ward Police, inspected compliance with legal regulations in the business activities of Baiyan Trading Co., Ltd at its business location on Duc Giang Street, Viet Hung ward, Hanoi.

Based on this verification, the goods were determined to be counterfeit Apple trademark products.
