McDonald's Türkiye has introduced a device aimed at solving a common problem for online gamers: being dropped from a game during meal breaks. The Archie device, offered alongside the Pro Gamer Menu, is designed to keep the in-game character moving so players can enjoy food without interrupting gameplay.
In online gaming, even short breaks to eat can result in players being kicked out of games, having missions interrupted, or experiencing disrupted progress. McDonald's Türkiye said it developed Archie to address this issue directly, enabling customers to continue playing while taking a meal break.
The device is offered with the Pro Gamer Menu and was designed by TBWA Istanbul. McDonald's Türkiye described the concept as a distinctive brand experience intended to align with the pace of everyday life and the growing role of home-based gaming.
Archie is available with the Pro Gamer Menu and features a flexible design inspired by McDonald's iconic Golden Arches. The company said the device brings the controller’s analog sticks together, allowing the character to continue moving when the player is briefly away from the screen (AFK).

McDonald's Türkiye cited Brand Finance’s Global 25 Most Valuable Restaurants 2026 report, which it said recognizes McDonald’s as the world’s most valuable restaurant brand. The company stated that it opened its first location in Türkiye in 1986.
McDonald's Türkiye said it currently operates 319 restaurants and employs over 10,000 people. It also stated that 98% of its products and services are sourced from suppliers operating within Türkiye.
