On May 7 at 23:45, while living and working in Korea, Pham Van Luc received 137,763,738 VND from an account under the name N.A.P. Luc said he did not initiate any transaction and suspected the transfer was a mistake.
After receiving the funds, Luc immediately informed his family in Vietnam by phone. He then transferred the money to his father’s account so it could be withdrawn as cash, and he handed the money over to the police to help identify the rightful owner in accordance with the law.
The Cam Giang Commune Police said they have received the money and are conducting verification to locate the sender.
Luc’s actions were praised by local authorities as an honest example for the community, aimed at protecting the rights of the sender and supporting law enforcement in resolving the case.
