The signing of the cooperation for the AEON MALL Da Nang Hoa Xuan project highlights BIM Group’s ability to partner with international brands to develop urban components with long-term operational value.
On May 11, 2026, in Hanoi, BIM Group and AEONMALL Vietnam officially signed a cooperation agreement to develop the AEON MALL Da Nang Hoa Xuan project. The event marks the next step in a collaboration spanning more than a decade, following the AEON MALL Ha Dong project in Hanoi.
The AEON MALL Da Nang Hoa Xuan project covers land use of about 101,800 square meters, with a total built floor area of about 126,740 square meters. The estimated total investment is about 4,381 billion dong (about 192.5 million USD).
It is located in Hoa Xuan Ward, Da Nang City, in the southern gateway of the city—an area being positioned as a new urban hub with strong urbanization and infrastructure investment.
Against the backdrop of Da Nang affirming its role as the economic, service and innovation center of Central Vietnam, the presence of a large-scale shopping center developed and operated to international standards is expected to raise urban utility, boost trade and services, and enhance living experiences for residents.
During the event, Mr Doan Quoc Huy, Chairman and CEO of BIM Group, said: “Over more than a decade, BIM Group and AEONMALL Vietnam have built a solid partnership on trust, long-term vision and shared values. The success of AEON MALL Ha Dong is proof of what the two sides can build together when there is consensus not only on commerce but also on strategy and the culture of cooperation.”
He added that the AEON MALL Da Nang Hoa Xuan project will not be “merely a shopping center” but a component of urban space with meaningful value, delivering additional experiences, services, jobs and community gathering points.
From AEONMALL Vietnam, CEO Isobe Daisuke praised the project’s development capability and the spirit of collaboration and professional partnership of BIM Group. Building on the collaboration established through AEON MALL Ha Dong, AEONMALL Vietnam believes AEON MALL Da Nang Hoa Xuan will become a modern shopping, entertainment and experiential destination in Da Nang, contributing to urban transformation and residents’ quality of life.
Over three decades, BIM Group has been recognized for its ability to cooperate with international brands to complete key components of major urban, resort and commercial destinations.
From Hanoi, Ha Long and Phu Quoc to the new partnership in Da Nang, the approach reflects BIM Group’s view—via BIM Land—of real estate not only as product development, but as the creation of sustainable ecosystems where commerce, services, tourism and the community grow together in the long term.
The spirit is being carried forward by BIM Land to new locations, including Thanh Phu Centre Point, positioned as the new commercial hub at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City, with a planned core of retail and service amenities integrated into the city’s operating framework.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
