Against the backdrop of ongoing social housing projects in the locality, regulatory oversight has been strengthened. Recently, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh conducted on-site inspections of several Da Nang projects and held discussions with local leaders.
The Deputy Minister said Da Nang has been proactive in implementing the resolution on social housing development, including developing concrete plans, allocating land at 46 locations across 134 hectares, with a capacity of about 42,700 units.
In the past two years, Da Nang’s social housing sector has shown progress. The Deputy Minister noted that targets were met in 2025, and that efforts are being carried out in more detailed ways in 2026. If about 6,000 units are completed this year, Da Nang may exceed the planned target.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh urged the city to further speed up project progress by regularly meeting with investors to address bottlenecks and requiring enterprises to mobilize resources to ensure schedule adherence, in order to avoid impacts on the overall plan assigned by the Government.
