Da Nang has resolved 1,981 of 2,035 projects and related real estate matters, reaching 97.35%, according to results shared at the Q1-2026 press briefing on the afternoon of April 7. The city also reported that the tax authority collected 1.435 of 2.208 billion dong for the state budget under audit conclusions, equivalent to 64.99%.
At the briefing, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment (NN&MT) of Da Nang City, presented outcomes from implementing Politburo Conclusion No. 77 and National Assembly Resolution No. 170 to address difficulties involving projects and land within the scope of audit conclusions, checks, and court verdicts.
Mr. Son said that immediately after the conclusions and resolutions were issued, the City’s Party Committee Standing Board and the People’s Committee directed the development of detailed implementation plans with a clear orientation to resolve long-standing issues. The city also set up three inter-sector task forces to focus on problem groups including collecting financial obligations, re-determining land prices, resolving land-use time-limit issues, and handling complex legal projects—particularly in coastal areas and the Son Tra Peninsula.
Mr. Son noted that the Da Phuoc urban area is currently in abandonment. Overall, Da Nang has resolved 1,981/2,035 projects and related properties, achieving 97.35%.
On the financial side, the tax authority reported state budget revenue of 1.435/2.208 billion dong under audit conclusions, equivalent to 64.99%. The city said this reflects efforts by relevant departments, agencies, and city leadership in driving the clearance target and supporting local socio-economic development.
Previously, on May 2, 2024, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 77-KL/TW on the Plan to Remove Difficulties and Obstacles related to projects and land within the audit conclusions, checks, and court verdicts in several provinces and cities. On November 30, 2024, at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 on special mechanisms to remove difficulties related to projects and land in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Khanh Hoa was passed.
