Hue’s Project Management Board for Investment in Zone 2, Hue City, has issued a call for interested investors to submit bid dossiers to implement a golf course project in Phong Phú Ward. According to the disclosed information, the project covers a land-use area of about 177.74 hectares and plans two golf courses: Golf Course No. 1 covering about 132.74 hectares with 27 holes; Golf Course No. 2 covering about 45 hectares with 9 holes. The architectural scale of the project is implemented in accordance with the 1/2,000-scale sub-area planning for a resort, golf, and ancillary services in Phong Phú Ward, which was approved by the Hue People’s Committee in Decision No. 1425/QD-UBND dated May 19, 2025. The project aims to develop a synchronized golf course system along with auxiliary components to support management, operation, and exploitation, meeting current standards. It will also serve the physical fitness, entertainment needs of residents and visitors, contributing to local tourism development. Total investment for the project is over 872 billion VND, of which execution costs are about 834 billion and compensation/land clearance costs exceed 37 billion. The project duration is 50 years from the date of land allocation, land lease, or land-use conversion. The implementation schedule should not exceed 48 months from the date of land handover, with groundbreaking not expected to occur within 12 months.
