According to the plan, the tunnel connecting Phú Thọ, Thái Nguyên and Hanoi will be nearly 19 kilometers long, including a 2-kilometer mountain tunnel linking Tam Đảo's western and eastern slopes toward Hanoi (specifically from Tam Đảo commune, Phú Thọ province to Quân Chu commune, Thái Nguyên province near Nui Coc Lake). Deo Ca Group will prepare the necessary procedures, aiming to secure approval of the
investment policy within 2026 and to commence construction in 2027. At the meeting, the chairman of the Thái Nguyên Provincial People’s Committee, Vuong Quoc Tuan, stressed that this is a favorable time to advance the province's master plan. The connecting tunnel is expected to create a significant development breakthrough in spatial planning and contribute to growth targets.
