VNeID has recorded 9,365,101 comments on draft documents for the XIV Party Congress from 3,287,129 citizens, highlighting the expanding role of population data and electronic identification in public administration.
According to the Civil Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (QLHC on TTXH) under the Ministry of Public Security, on April 3, feedback submitted via the VNeID app generated 9,365,101 comments from 3,287,129 citizens.
QLHC on TTXH said party organizations nationwide have completed entering congress results into software monitoring systems, including 38 provincial-level party committees, 3,589 superior-level party committees at the grassroots, and 26,271 base-level committees.
The technological infrastructure supporting party oversight has been strengthened through three software systems deployed for the Central Inspection Commission, which received 728 petitions and reflections.
QLHC on TTXH implemented login integration with the Party member handbook software. The handbook system logged 8,655,001 logins via VNeID, while the Party information portal recorded 478,050 successful logins.
In addition, the Party member database has been built, with 5,284,352 records requesting card issuance or replacement (96.08%). Of these, 5,103,461 data records have been delivered to support management.
During the congress period (Jan 19–25, 2026), QLHC on TTXH’s Party Committee established 12 task forces to implement the XIV Congress Security and Order Subcommittee plan.
Six task forces carried out entry/exit controls at the National Convention Center and monitored, prevented, and detected two cases of bringing prohibited tools into restricted areas. Authorities handed over the persons and items to the Ward Police for handling in accordance with regulations.
QLHC on TTXH said election features for the XVI National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026–2031 term on VNeID continue to leverage population data and electronic identification.
The department reported that it reviewed more than 77 million voters on the voter management software. It also received 219,620 requests for electronic voting certificates at other locations via VNeID and 110,291 requests to change polling places between permanent and temporary residences.
VNeID adds election utilities that allow citizens to monitor polling area information and candidate lists, and to change polling places in a digital environment.
QLHC on TTXH collaborated with the Digital Transformation Office (Parliament Office) to connect an information page to the electronic identity and authentication system, enabling login with a VNeID account from December 17, 2025. During this period, the system recorded 349,133 logins.
It also connected to the National Population Database from December 18, 2025 to help candidates automatically fill forms, recording 442,115 extraction requests, which the department said contributes to governance efficiency, administrative reform, and better support for citizens’ rights and duties in the election process.
