On February 21, 2026, during a bank transfer to a family member, Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Tham (born 1983, residing at To 13A, Khu phố 1, phường Long Hung) inadvertently transferred 9,999,999 dong to another account. Immediately after discovering the incident, Tham went to Long Hung Ward Police to report and seek assistance. After receiving the information, ward police officers quickly proceeded to verify, contacting the account holder who received the mistaken transfer to clarify the matter. After verification, negotiation, and working with the account holder, by March 11, 2026, Tham had recovered the full amount transferred in error.
