On May 7, 2026, Trương Minh Đức (born 2004), residing in Lang Lạnh village, Cam Nhân commune, Lào Cai province, unexpectedly received 100 million VND into his Techcombank account ending in 6789. The transaction note read “alis TRUONG MINH DUC.”
On May 9, Cam Nhân Commune Police announced that they had helped the individual return the 100 million VND that had been transferred in error.
According to the police, at around 17:42 on May 7, Đức’s bank account suddenly received 100 million VND from an account ending in 6789. The transfer was made by Nguyễn Văn Quang, with the note “alis TRUONG MINH DUC.”
After receiving the information, Cam Nhân Commune Police verified the transaction details and clarified information related to the remitter account. Through the verification process, authorities identified the remitter as Nguyễn Văn Quang (born 1992), residing at 44 Lê Quảng Hòa, Ward Hòa Xuân, Đà Nẵng.
Cam Nhân Commune Police then contacted and coordinated with relevant parties to resolve the matter in accordance with regulations. In the presence of the commune police, Đức returned the full 100 million VND to Quang.
According to Lào Cai Police, Đức’s action is a commendable act, demonstrating honesty and responsibility, and contributing to the spread of the image of “good people, good deeds,” helping build trust and positive values within the community.
