Oil-price movements have made investors cautious, placing pressure on the stock market. At the close on April 3, the VN-Index fell 11 points to 1,684. Despite the decline, liquidity remained high, with the value of trades on HOSE approaching 21 trillion dong.
Foreign trading was a drag on the market, with net selling of about 1.528 trillion dong.
On HOSE, foreigners net-sold 1.570 trillion dong. On the buy side, ACB was the most purchased stock by foreigners, with a value above 90 billion dong. MSN and HCM followed, bought at 81 billion dong and 75 billion dong, respectively.
On the sell side, VHM continued to be the most sold stock by foreigners, with about 457 billion dong. HPG and MWG were next, sold at 217 billion dong and 175 billion dong, respectively.
On HNX, foreigners recorded net buying of 32 billion dong. PVS was the most net-bought stock at 130 billion dong, followed by IDC at 13 billion dong. Foreigners also accumulated net positions in SHS, CEO, and BVS.
On UPCOM, foreigners bought net 10 billion dong. DDV was the most net-bought stock at 14 billion dong. F88 and acv were also bought, each at a few hundred million dong.
In contrast, VEA was net-sold by foreigners at 5 billion dong. Foreigners also sold MSR, QNS, and other stocks.
