Two members of the Tasco Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hieu and Ms. Phan Thi Thu Thao, have submitted resignations from their positions. The resignations will take effect from the time the 2026 General Meeting of Shareholders reviews and approves them.
Tasco’s upcoming AGM will consider a Board proposal to reduce the number of Board members for the remainder of the 2022–2027 term to seven members. The proposed composition includes at least two independent directors and two non-executive directors.
Because the number of Board members remaining after the resignations is six, the AGM will need to elect one additional Board member.
Board candidates must meet the criteria to serve on the Board and the independence requirements under the Enterprise Law 2020, the Securities Law 2019, and Decree 155/2020/NĐ-CP.
Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by shareholders or shareholder groups, or by their authorized proxies, in accordance with the Enterprise Law 2020 and the company’s charter.
As previously reported, on March 18, 2026, Tasco finalized the shareholder list for the 2026 annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
The meeting is scheduled for April 2026 and may be extended, but in any case will not be held later than June 30, 2026. The company will announce the meeting time and venue in the official notice of the meeting.
The meeting agenda will also be communicated to shareholders as required by law and the company’s charter.
