Au Lac Group continues to increase its stake in Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) to 6%. On May 4, Ms. Nguyen Thien Huong Jenny, daughter of Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of Au Lac Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: ALC), purchased nearly 8.4 million shares of Asia Commercial Bank (HOSE: ACB). Consequently, Ms. Jenny raised her ownership in ACB from 2.14% (109.8 million shares) to 2.3% (118.1 million shares). Based on ACB’s closing price on May 4 of 23,100 VND per share, she would need about 193 billion VND to complete the transaction. Thus, the total group related to Au Lac increased its stake in ACB to 6%, equivalent to more than 308 million shares. Previously, Au Lac had raised its stake to over 5% earlier in April 2026. On HOSE, ACB was trading around 22,805 VND per share (as of the afternoon of May 11), down about 4% from the start of the year. Average liquidity exceeded 14 million shares per day.
