As of 30/5/2026, Vietnam’s domestic foreign-exchange (fx) quotes show a broadly higher sell-side level across many currencies, while the US Dollar Index is lower versus the previous day and the 7-day and 30-day comparisons.
In the domestic market, the US Dollar (USD) is quoted at VND 26,115 (buy) and VND 26,395 (sell). Compared with the previous day, the USD buy price is slightly lower than 26,393, while the sell price is also marginally higher than the previous day’s 26,393 reference.
Other major currencies also trade with higher sell-side levels. For example, the Euro is quoted at VND 30,156.96 (buy) and VND 31,429.37 (sell); the UK Pound Sterling at VND 34,762.04 (buy) and VND 35,875.3 (sell); and the Swiss Franc at VND 33,050.33 (buy) and VND 34,108.77 (sell).
Several Asian and regional currencies similarly show elevated sell quotes. The Chinese Yuan is VND 3,824.8 (buy) and VND 3,947.29 (sell), the Japanese Yen is VND 161.05 (buy) and VND 169.57 (sell), and the Singapore Dollar is VND 20,258.57 (buy) and VND 20,949.22 (sell).
Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index stands at 98.94, down from 98.996 (previous day), 99.319 (7 days ago), and 98.134 (30 days ago), aligning with the news context that the USD continues to weaken.
News highlights over the past 24 hours also point to USD weakness, including reports that the USD has continued to decline and that the central exchange rate increased slightly, while free-market USD selling rates rose to around 26,450 VND/USD.
