Ha Tinh Province People’s Committee has issued the 2026 Investment Promotion Program, setting out multiple specific targets aimed at driving breakthroughs in attracting resources, developing the private sector, and enhancing the province’s competitiveness.
Under the program, Ha Tinh aims to attract more than 50 investment projects, including domestic capital of about 180,000 billion VND and foreign direct investment (FDI) of about 550 million USD.
The province also targets the establishment of more than 1,800 new enterprises, while maintaining private-sector growth above 10%. Ha Tinh further plans to improve its Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) score and ranking, along with administrative reform indicators.
The program defines a more in-depth approach to investment attraction, emphasizing efficiency and alignment with provincial planning. It prioritizes breakthrough projects expected to create spillover effects and to be linked to green growth and digital transformation.
Key targeted sectors include steel production, electric vehicles, high-tech industries, green technology, and science, technology and innovation—identified as important pillars to raise value addition and strengthen the local economy’s competitiveness in the new period.
In terms of development space, Ha Tinh continues to position dynamic areas such as the Vung Ang Economic Zone and the Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone, alongside a system of industrial parks with synchronized infrastructure to attract large capital flows, particularly high-scale and high-tech projects.
Ha Tinh will intensify international cooperation by strengthening connections with partners from Japan, Korea, Europe, and the Americas, while promoting regional linkages and cooperation with key domestic localities to expand development space.
To achieve the targets, the province will proactively work with strategic investors and multinational corporations to attract new capital. Investment promotion activities will be carried out flexibly, combining external promotion with on-site activities.
Ha Tinh will focus on supporting existing businesses by unlocking capital to expand and increase production for projects already operating. At the same time, the province will prepare infrastructure and clean land to welcome secondary investors.
With a clear orientation and synchronized solutions, the 2026 Investment Promotion Program is expected to provide a major boost and help Ha Tinh become an increasingly attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investment in the near future.
