In early May 2026, Hanwha Life Vietnam officially launched the H-Planner app for financial advisors, highlighting the company’s push to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to insurance advisory and support its broader digitization efforts to improve business quality and customer experience.
Positioned as a dedicated “personal assistant,” H-Planner is designed to support financial advisory activities including advising, planning, client management, and professional development. The app uses charts to visualize data, aiming to make the advisory process clearer, easier to understand, and more persuasive.
Through AI, H-Planner personalizes each client profile and systematizes information based on group behavior and needs. This helps financial advisors quickly understand client situations and propose suitable solutions.
Among its notable tools, the “Virtual Assistant” provides quick responses about insurance and products. The “Life Plan” feature presents a financial picture across life stages, estimates a client’s financial level to suggest appropriate insurance options, and allows advisors to adjust recommendations to match client needs.
A distinguishing feature is the “Risk Report,” which helps advisors visually present the financial impacts of having or not having insurance. Instead of relying only on theoretical explanations, the app supports scenario-based presentations so clients can better see risks and benefits, with the goal of strengthening trust and satisfaction.
H-Planner is integrated with Hanwha Life Vietnam’s Customer Management System (E-Submission), enabling a streamlined workflow for advisors from consultation through policy issuance. The company says this improves speed, convenience, and the overall modernity of the customer experience.
Currently, the app is available not only to customers but also to the public. Users can download it on iOS and Android to view personal financial snapshots and learn about insurance products.
The H-Planner app was developed by Hanwha Financial Technology, a subsidiary of Hanwha Life Vietnam focused on fintech, data collection and analysis, and building digital platforms. The company states that under the leadership of CEO Park Kyoung Bae, and with support from Hanwha Life Vietnam, Hanwha Financial Technology is developing AI applications in practice to deliver more convenient and efficient solutions and strengthen competitiveness in the financial-insurance sector.
Hanwha Life Vietnam said H-Planner represents a milestone in its digital transformation, supported by its operational capacity and financial foundation built over many years.
In 2025, the company recorded total benefits and insurance payouts of nearly VND 3,000 billion, up 7% from 2024. It reported that more than VND 414 billion in insured benefits were paid across over 46,000 cases, with over 92% of benefit requests received online and an average processing time of about 2 business days.
The company also highlighted that many payout cases involved benefits in the billions of dong. It cited examples including the family of customer N.H.H (Thanh Hoa), which received over VND 5.2 billion in death benefits, and the Dak Lak flood events last year, when Hanwha Life Vietnam approved more than VND 3.8 billion in benefits for Ms. V.T.U’s family and activated policy premium waivers for her son.
By the end of 2025, Hanwha Life Vietnam reported total assets of over VND 22,847 billion and revenue from financial operations of over VND 1,420 billion, up 10.68% and 12.81% respectively from 2024. Pre-tax profit exceeded VND 606 billion, marking seven consecutive years of profitability despite a challenging market.
With more than 140 service points and over 41,300 financial advisors nationwide, Hanwha Life Vietnam said it is gradually building a customer-centric service ecosystem that combines a financial platform with modern technology capabilities.
