MWG’s chief executive officer, Vu Dang Linh, said at the group’s 2026 annual general meeting that MWG achieved about 25% of its full-year 2026 revenue plan in the first quarter. He also indicated that net profit is expected to reach about 29–30% of the annual target.
Earlier shareholder materials set MWG’s full-year targets at net revenue of 185,000 billion VND and consolidated after-tax profit of 9,200 billion VND, representing increases of 18% and 30% versus the prior year. If achieved, MWG would post record business results.
Under the company’s outlook, Q1 2026 revenue is expected at 46,000–47,000 billion VND, with net profit of 2,700–2,800 billion VND, up about 80% year-on-year.
Linh said MWG expects Q2 results to continue growing as the group enters the peak season for electronics, appliances, and other formats, adding that there is “plenty of room to grow.”
MWG previously announced results for the first two months of 2026. Revenue reached 32,200 billion VND, up 31% from the same period in 2025.
The largest contributor to total revenue was DMX, the unit operating The Gioi Di Dong (TGDĐ) and four brands (DMX, Topzone, Erablue, and Thợ Điện Máy Xanh). In the first two months of 2026, DMX recorded nearly 23,000 billion VND in revenue, up more than 35% year-on-year, and accounting for 19% of the year’s plan.
Meanwhile, BHX reported revenue of nearly 8,800 billion VND, up 24% year-on-year.
