NovaGroup, the parent company of Novaland (NVL), announced that Bùi Thành Nhơn has handed the chairmanship of NovaGroup to his son, Bùi Cao Nhật Quân. The group said the transition was planned to ensure succession, continuity, and adaptability to the new context.
Under the announced arrangement, Nhơn will continue in a strategic leadership role, guiding the group’s long-term vision and working with management. He will also remain chair of Nova Holding, the parent company that holds the controlling stake in NovaGroup.
NovaGroup said Quân has more than 20 years of experience within the group and has participated in operations across multiple phases. The company described his appointment as both a succession and a continuation of practical experience, leadership capability, and “proven innovative thinking.”
At Novaland, Nhơn owns 4.33% of capital, while Quân holds 3.37%. The family’s total stake stands at 39.79%.
Alongside the chairmanship handover, NovaGroup said it is consolidating its top management. The group announced the following appointments to the NovaGroup board and executive roles:
