OCB (Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank) has launched an online running event, “Green Race 2026 – Following Bình Minh,” to mark its 30th anniversary. The race runs from 11 April to 9 June 2026 and is designed to connect running enthusiasts nationwide through a flexible, self-paced format.
The Green Race is organized online, allowing participants to choose their time and location. Athletes can register for distances of 30 km, 100 km, 200 km, 300 km, or 500 km, which can be completed by running or walking. Results are recorded via the Strava app and synchronized in real time on the VRun platform.
The event’s highlight is the message “Following Bình Minh,” inspired by the moment of dawn when the body wakes, the spirit is renewed, and positive energy spreads. Beyond fitness, OCB said every step contributes to community charity by converting the total distance run into a donation from OCB to the Know About Heart Foundation, with the aim of supporting more “Bình Minh” moments and improving access to healthier lives for children in difficult circumstances.
In addition to the employee category (O-Bankers), the event expands to a broader community category (O-Friends) for sports lovers, especially runners. Participants can monitor real-time standings and compete for more than 100 individual and team prizes.
OCB said the Green Race is part of a wider 30th anniversary program that includes customer appreciation activities, large-scale experiential events, and internal activities aligned with meaningful community campaigns.
From now until 7 July 2026, individuals who borrow or open term deposits of six months or more at OCB branches nationwide will have a chance to receive a range of gifts. In parallel, the “Points for concert tickets” program on the OCB OMNI app runs until 27 May 2026, enabling customers to accumulate points to redeem tickets for the OCB30 Music Concert or other gifts.
OCB has also announced the lineup for the OCB30 Music Concert, featuring artists including Soobin, Chi Pu, Phùng Khánh Linh, UPRIZE, and others. The concert is scheduled for 6 June 2026 at Van Phuc City, with expected attendance of about 30,000.
OCB said the integration of promotional offers, experiential activities, and entertainment within a single campaign is intended to create a festive atmosphere for its 30th birthday while supporting a continuous customer engagement journey and spreading positive values.
“Toward the 30th anniversary of the founding, OCB hopes each activity reflects more than a commemorative purpose; it also creates social value. This is the meaning of the OCB Green Race 2026 – ‘Following Bình Minh’, where every step not only inspires healthy living but also supports community with practical actions.”
