Sacombank (Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank) has approved a decision to relieve Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhung from the position of Deputy General Director at his own request. The decision takes effect from May 8, 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhung is a senior professional in finance and banking. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, a bachelor’s degree in Law from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, and a Master’s degree in Finance – Banking from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
Before joining Sacombank, he held several senior management positions at credit institutions, including Vice General Director at Eximbank and CEO at VietBank.
In Q1/2026, Sacombank continued to operate stably. The bank reported total assets of about 860,000 billion dong, deposits of about 776.335 billion dong, and credit outstanding of about 627,000 billion dong.
Sacombank posted pre-tax profit of more than 2,100 billion dong. The bank also increased provisioning to strengthen asset quality and support sustainable growth.
