Sacombank announced the appointment of Luu Danh Duc and Nguyen Hoang Hai as Deputy General Directors as part of a broader restructuring to strengthen governance, accelerate digital transformation, and boost efficiency across the system. Duc, born 1973, holds a Master of Information Technology from the French-speaking Informatics Institute and is an IT engineer from Hanoi University of Technology, with more than 22 years of experience in technology, particularly in banking and large groups. He has led, advised, and directly managed many large-scale projects, including core banking projects, digital platforms, and integrated ecosystem initiatives. At SACOMBANK, he will focus on modernizing the technical infrastructure, enhancing data capabilities, and developing digital solutions for customers. Hai, born 1973 and a graduate of the National University of Hanoi in Telecommunications, has more than 30 years of experience leading major organizations in telecommunications and finance-banking. He has held senior leadership positions at Gtel Mobile and VIB, including Marketing Director, Operations Director, Strategy and Transformation Director, and Operations Director, contributing to strategic planning, transformation, and efficiency improvements. Most recently, he served at LPBank as Deputy General Director, helping build lean and efficient operations. With cross-industry experience and a continuous-improvement mindset, he will help build a lean, flexible operating model focused on efficiency while supporting SACOMBANK in elevating service quality and adaptability in a highly competitive environment. In addition, SACOMBANK has added Nguyen Thanh Hiep (currently Director of the Risk Management Division) to the Executive Board to lead risk management. Hiep, born 1974, began his career at SACOMBANK in 2006 and has extensive experience in credit control and risk management. This move underscores the bank's prudent growth strategy anchored in robust risk governance. The bank’s executive leadership currently comprises Faussier Loic Michel Marc as Interim CEO, along with 11 Deputy General Directors and 2 Executive Board members, reorganized to professionalize governance, enhance management efficiency, and meet the demands of the new phase.
