On 21 April 2026, the domestic brokerage houses’ proprietary trading desks and foreign investors simultaneously sold net across the board. The FUEVFVND fund certificates attracted attention as they were traded in high-volume matched orders, with a divergence between proprietary trading and foreign activity. After four consecutive days of net buying, proprietary trading resumed net selling on HOSE today, amounting to nearly VND 10 billion. The main factor was the net selling of the FUEVFVND component of the DCVFMVN DIAMOND ETF by about VND 295 billion. On the buy side, KBC led with over VND 67 billion, followed by MWG with around VND 63 billion. Foreign investors also turned net sellers today, totaling over VND 305 billion. FPT, VCB, and MSB topped the list of net sellers, with values close to VND 144 billion, 124 billion, and 108 billion respectively. However, the highlight of the day was the net buying of FUEVFVND by foreign investors of nearly VND 294 billion, almost matching the amount sold by the proprietary desks. On the match-trade channel, nearly 7.8 million FUEVFVND certificates were bought by foreigners, while the proprietary desks sold a similar amount. Besides FUEVFVND, foreigners also made notable net buying in HPG of nearly VND 292 billion, on the day the steel major held its 2026 annual general meeting. The data also include related stock symbols and market commentary, with mentions of further market analyses and updates linked in the piece.
