Vietnam and China signed 32 cooperation documents during the state visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife from April 14 to 17. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the agreements span a broad range of areas, including party-to-party liaison, public security, justice, the economy, rail transport, agricultural products and trade, supply chains, customs, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.
The signing included 32 items outlining bilateral cooperation objectives among ministries, agencies, and localities. The documents also cover plans for continued cooperation through the 2026–2030 period.
Alongside cooperation aims, the agreements include memoranda between the two governments and their respective agencies, intended to deepen bilateral ties and support regional development.
