Cafe Show & Tea Show Vietnam 2026 will run from April 16 to 18, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). The event is held under the aegis of the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association and the Vietnam Tea Association, bringing together hundreds of international brands across coffee, tea, pastries, and modern F&B solutions.
Organizers say this year’s exhibition is designed not only as a display space but as a full view of the industry’s value chain, covering source regions, roasters, equipment suppliers, and the owners of store chains and professional communities.
The presence of major global equipment brands—including La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Nuova Simonelli, and Kees van der Westen—along with distributors in Vietnam such as Kiến Nam Barista (Copen), Procaffe, and Cubes, positions the event as a professional B2B platform.
A key highlight is a system of rigorous professional competitions. The Vietnam National Barista Championship 2026 (VNBC) is described as the only competition in Vietnam certified by World Coffee Events (WCE). The VNBC 2026 champion will represent Vietnam at the World Barista Championship 2027 in Tokyo, Japan.
Organizers note that baristas must demonstrate not only espresso techniques, but also flavor control and professional demeanor aligned with international standards. They also emphasize changing how society views the profession.
"If baristas are still seen as a temporary job, Vietnam will have difficulty nurturing a generation capable of standing on the world stage. We want to help change how the market views the person behind the bar: as a profession with standards, investment, and a future," said a representative of the organizers.
For the first time, the Vietnam National Cup Tasters Championship 2026 (VNCTC) will be organized to recognize sensory skills and the ability to distinguish flavors among experts.
Additional competitions include the Dalatmilk World Matcha Latte Art Battle, along with culinary and pastry art events, which organizers say help expand the creative space for professionals.
Alongside industry growth, the event highlights a shift in equipment demand and consumer habits. Mr. Huỳnh Phước Minh, Director of Sales and Technical at Kiến Nam Barista (nearly 20 years of operation in Vietnam), said the espresso machine market has “truly exploded” over the past seven years.
Mr. Minh said Vietnamese consumers are becoming more discerning and are increasingly willing to upgrade equipment to obtain better products. He cited Italian espresso machines priced at 30–70 million VND as currently the most popular segment. He also referenced ultra-premium handmade machines crafted 100% in the Netherlands, such as Kees van der Westen, priced from 500–800 million VND to meet stringent espresso standards.
On taste preferences, Mr. Minh said Vietnamese coffee has shifted from dense phin coffee to machine-brewed coffee. He added that customers have moved from Robusta to blends, then to 100% Arabica. Connoisseurs, he said, are also seeking imported coffee to experience brightness, balance, and fruity notes.
Beyond competitions, Cafe Show & Tea Show Vietnam 2026 is described as a “massive practical academy.” Through Master Class and Sweet Class sessions, attendees can learn about trends such as fragrant floral milk tea for 2026, explore Matcha in depth, and watch demonstrations of artistic wedding cakes and sourdough bread.
With its scale and specialization, organizers say the event functions as both a meeting place for products and technology and a platform for Vietnam’s F&B industry to raise professional standards and support the path for top talent to reach the world stage.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
