Investment funds associated with VinaCapital have continued to sell KDH shares, reducing their ownership in Khang Điền to about 6.96% of charter capital.
In the trading session on April 29, 2026, VOF Investment Limited sold 500,000 KDH shares. After the transaction, the fund held about 1.16 million shares, equivalent to 0.1034% of charter capital.
In parallel, the VinaCapital Market Access Equity Fund sold an additional 400,000 KDH shares, lowering its stake to about 531,000 units, equivalent to 0.0473%.
Despite ongoing portfolio reshuffles, the VinaCapital ecosystem of funds still holds a substantial position in Khang Điền. Nine other member funds currently hold a combined total of more than 76.4 million KDH shares.
Following the latest transactions, the total KDH shares held by the VinaCapital group stood at more than 78.1 million, representing about 6.9621% of the company’s charter capital.
Khang Điền reported net revenue of about 281.4 billion VND in Q1 2026, down 60.4% year-on-year.
After-tax profit, however, rose to over 327 billion VND, up about 175.5% year-on-year. The main driver was other income increasing to over 290.5 billion VND, more than 33 times the same period.
For 2026, Khang Điền set a revenue target of about 4,200 billion VND and after-tax profit of about 1,500 billion VND. After the first quarter, the company achieved about 6.7% of the revenue plan and about 21.8% of the annual profit target.
As of March 31, 2026, total assets reached about 39.862 trillion VND, up about 17% from the start of the year. Inventory remained a major component, at more than 29.125 trillion VND, or about 73.1% of total assets.
Debt pressure also increased. Total liabilities rose to more than 18.337 trillion VND, up about 42% from the start of the year. Short- and long-term borrowings reached nearly 15.348 trillion VND, representing about 83.7% of total liabilities.
On the stock market, KDH shares declined after a rebound late last year. As of the morning close on May 6, 2026, KDH traded at 24,200 dong per share, down 0.82% from the reference, with about 2.5 million shares traded.
This was the lowest price level for KDH in more than a year. Compared with the start of the year, the stock price has fallen by more than 23%, down 7,300 dong per share. Khang Điền’s market capitalization stands at 27,157 billion dong.
