Vietnam’s exchange-traded fund (ETF) market is expected to undergo a significant adjustment after the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) releases the VN-Diamond index review results for Q2 2026 on 20 April 2026. The banking sector is expected to be the largest seller in the review.
According to MBS Research, the VN-Diamond index components are not expected to change. However, adjusting the index weights is expected to generate notable trade flows from ETFs tracking the index.

There are currently six funds tracking the VN-Diamond index: DCVFMVN Diamond ETF, MAFM VNDiamond ETF, BVFVN Diamond ETF, KIM Growth Diamond ETF, ABF VNDiamond ETF, and the newly listed VFCVN Diamond ETF.
As of end-March 2026, total net assets of the six ETFs stood at 12.3 trillion dong, with DCVFMVN accounting for 96%.
