May 19, 2026 is the deadline for Dam Sen Water Park Joint Stock Company (DSN) to finalize the shareholder list for the final cash dividend for 2025. The company will pay 16% in cash, equivalent to VND 1,600 per share. The payment date is expected to be June 17, 2026.
With 12.1 million shares outstanding, DSN is estimated to pay approximately VND 19.3 billion in remaining cash dividends for 2025.
In February 2026, DSN paid an advance cash dividend of 24%. Combined with the final 16% payment, the total cash dividend payout for 2025 reaches 40%, consistent with the plan approved at the company’s AGM in April.
For 2026, DSN targets net revenue of VND 190 billion, up 4.7% compared with 2025. Profit before tax is expected at VND 92 billion, while after-tax profit is forecast at VND 73 billion, representing a slight increase year-on-year.
The company also sets a 2026 cash dividend payout ratio of at least 24% of charter capital, with total expected payout of around VND 29 billion.
DSN said its plan is built amid an increasingly competitive entertainment market in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas, including Suoi Tien Park, Grand Park/VinWonders, and the Đại Nam tourist area (owned by Nguyen Phuong Hang). The company noted that these venues continue to upgrade and expand, pushing DSN to accelerate product innovation, add more games to attract families, groups of friends, and tour groups, while also increasing pressure to maintain market share.
At the AGM, shareholders approved the dismissal of two independent board members, Hirotaka Yabe and Tran Oanh. At the same time, Hiroko Yabe and Le Thanh Tri were elected to the board for the 2023–2028 term.
Speaking at the meeting, Tran Viet Anh, Chairman of the Board, outlined DSN’s 2026 direction, focusing on three main areas.
DSN plans capital restructuring to reduce losses and limit the impact on overall business results. The company previously invested in a fruit juice plant in Phan Thiet to expand operations, but the project did not meet expectations. DSN said it is seeking partners to dispose of this project.
The company will not pursue a project in District 9, saying it no longer fits planning and market conditions. DSN will instead look for investment opportunities in neighboring provinces, especially the Mekong Delta region, where climate conditions are similar and development potential exists. Specific information will be announced if conditions are met.
Regarding land leases, DSN said it is awaiting a stable administrative framework after the merger to proceed with renewing the land lease for Dam Sen Water Park. After completing legal procedures, the company plans renovations, upgrades, and investment in additional new games to improve the park’s overall quality.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
