The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved accepting sponsorship and the investment proposal for the project to repair the surface of Nguyen Van Linh Street, from the entrance of Da Nang International Airport to the Hoang Dieu junction. The project is funded 100% by Da Nang International Airport Terminal Investment and Exploitation JSC (AHT), with total investment of more than VND 19.8 billion, and the company will directly implement the construction under supervision of the authorities. According to the plan, the approximately 1.5 km stretch will repair damaged sections, resurface the entire road with asphalt concrete, and repaint the traffic markings. The project is expected to be completed in May, after which it will be handed over to the city for management and operation. Nguyen Van Linh Street connects from the airport to the Dragon Bridge. Nguyen Van Linh is among Da Nang’s roads with high real estate value, with land prices ranging around 130–250 million VND per square meter. The repair works aim to ensure traffic safety and support upcoming international political and cultural events in the locality. After completion, AHT said it would coordinate with the city to study a plan to renovate the overall landscape along the Nguyen Van Linh – Vo Van Kiet axis, a key traffic corridor linking the airport with Dragon Bridge and My Khe Beach. The renovation direction includes adding greenery, improving lighting, and enhancing urban aesthetics, aiming to build a cohesive, modern gateway axis aligned with urban space planning, especially in high-traffic-density areas.
