gold shops reported unexpectedly easy purchases on the Day of the God of Wealth (Vía Thần Tài). Contrary to expectations of crowds and long lines, most customers could buy gold without long waits. At SJC on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ho Chi Minh City, customers could buy 2 chỉ of gold if paying by bank transfer, or 1 chỉ if paying cash; for small gold bars, the limit was 3 chỉ per person. SJC offered a wide range of products to meet demand, from lucky gold cards to plain rings and gold bars, with staff guiding customers quickly to fulfill their needs. PNJ Next at the Hai Bà Trưng corner was also crowded, with mini gold products ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 chỉ in high demand; some customers bought several pieces as gifts. Inside the thần tài sale area, the space was open and customers were invited in promptly, rather than waiting outside as before.
