In just three days, the “Tinh hoa Pháp” concert, exclusively funded by Techcombank and Masterise Group, will arrive in Hanoi. On the evening of April 25, 2026, Hoan Kiem Theater in Hanoi opened the event in a European, 19th-century-inspired atmosphere, marking the start of a program designed to bring the city’s audience closer to classical art.
The concert, sponsored exclusively by Techcombank and Masterise Group, featured performances by the Versailles Royal Opera Orchestra (France). Through a carefully staged sequence, the orchestra delivered timeless melodies that guided the audience through a range of emotions.
The program included classic excerpts from well-known operas such as Carmen by Georges Bizet and La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, alongside elegant overtures. A highlight of the evening came when the conductor and a soloist swapped roles in a spontaneous moment, prompting laughter and cheers from the audience.
Carmen excerpts were singled out as a key moment, helping recreate the spirit of European art in the heart of Hanoi.
The vocal and instrumental storytelling drew strong engagement from attendees. Soloists included Julien Behr (tenor), Fanny Valentin (soprano), Camille Taos Arbouz (mezzo), and Alexandre Adra (bass).
Beyond the music, the presence of Mellow Six, a culinary brand under Masterise Group, contributed to a refined, multi-sensory experience, with lighting, flavors, and art presented as a unified whole.
Following the successful opening night, Hanoi audiences will have another opportunity to experience the second and final performance on the evening of April 26.
Organizers positioned the concert not only as a showcase of world-class artistic moments, but also as a meaningful cultural exchange that supports Vietnam–France artistic diplomacy.
