Vietnam’s stock market edged higher on June 18, supported by gains in the Vingroup group of stocks. The VN-Index closed up 24 points at 1,830, while turnover on the HoSE exceeded 14.1 trillion dong.
Foreign investors remained net sellers across the market, continuing to sell about 1.872 trillion dong on the day. On HoSE specifically, foreign net selling was around 1.889 trillion dong.
In terms of stock action, the largest net buyers included VIC with about 74 billion dong, followed by PC1 with 33 billion. MBB and ACB were each net bought around 23 billion dong, while PVD was net bought about 21 billion dong.
On the sell side, FPT faced the strongest selling pressure at about 501 billion dong. Other heavily sold stocks included VHM at 182 billion dong, TCB at 159 billion, VCB at 127 billion, and VPB at 93 billion dong.
