Century Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Cen Land, HOSE) said it has received a resignation letter from Mr. Pham Thanh Hung (also known as “Shark Hung”) on April 27, 2026.
In his resignation letter, Hung requested to step down from his position as a Member of the Board of Directors of Cen Land for the 2023–2028 term. He stated that he wants to focus on personal work and pursue new directions.
The resignation will be submitted to Cen Land’s General Meeting of Shareholders for approval in accordance with regulations, with the meeting expected to be held on May 22, 2026.
Hung is widely known as “Shark Hung” after the Shark Tank Vietnam program. Born in 1972, he holds a Master of International Business Administration with a specialization in Technology Management and Transfer.
According to Cen Land’s 2025 governance report, Hung serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and holds 3.36% of charter capital, equivalent to nearly 15.6 million shares.
Beyond his board role, Hung also holds leadership positions within Cen Land’s ecosystem, including Chairman of Century Valuation Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Cen Academy Joint Stock Company, and Chairman of Century World Trading Limited (Century Home).
Cen Land reported 2025 revenue of about 1.3 trillion VND, down 15% year-on-year. Net profit reached 75 billion VND, up nearly 80%.
The company attributed the improvement to positive signals in the real estate market, including strong transaction volumes that supported revenue and profit from the brokerage segment. Cen Land also reported additional revenue and profit from business collaboration contracts, contributing to overall profit growth.
