Hundreds of companies released their Q1 2026 financial statements ahead of the April 30–May 1 holiday. Vietcombank (VCB) reported Q1 2026 pre-tax profit of 11,803 billion VND, up 9% year-on-year.
Hoa Phat (HPG) posted Q1 profit of 10,762 billion VND. BSR reported Q1 net profit of 9,249 billion VND, up 1,861% from the low base in Q1 2025.
Several energy-sector companies recorded sharp increases in earnings. EVN Genco3 (PGV) reported net profit of 913 billion VND, up 790%. PV Power (POW) posted net profit of 1,408 billion VND, up 176%. Vimico (KSV) reported profit of 1,120 billion VND, up 176%.
Vietnam Airlines (HVN) continued its recovery, reporting profit of 4,680 billion VND, up 29%. Vietjet (VJC) reported profit of 1,142 billion VND, up 37%. PNJ recorded quarterly earnings of 1,865 billion VND, up 118%.
Other companies also reported significant growth: Sunshine Group (KSF) grew 604% to a profit of 410 billion VND. Phat Dat (PDR) reported 390 billion VND profit, up 507%. Dat Xanh Services (DXS) posted profit of 325 billion VND, up 472%. Taseco Land (TAL) achieved 204 billion VND profit, up 478%.
