January 19, 2026 – March 25, 2026
According to the complaint, Robbins LLP is investigating allegations that ImmunityBio misled investors regarding its lead product candidate. During the class period, the complaint alleges that defendant Soon-Shiong materially overstated Anktiva’s capabilities.
The complaint further states that on March 24, 2026, a warning letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding Soon-Shiong’s claims about Anktiva became public. The warning letter said that “the promotional communications create a misleading impression that Anktiva, a treatment for certain type of bladder cancer, can cure and even prevent all cancer.” The letter also referenced additional false claims attributed to Soon-Shiong.
On the news, ImmunityBio common stock fell $1.98 per share, or 21%, to close at $7.42 per share on March 24, 2026.
Robbins LLP states that shareholders may be eligible to participate in the class action. Those who wish to serve as lead plaintiff must submit their papers to the court by May 26, 2026. The lead plaintiff is described as a representative party that directs the litigation on behalf of other class members.
The firm also notes that shareholders do not have to participate in the case to be eligible for recovery. If no action is taken, investors can remain an absent class member.
Robbins LLP says all representation is on a contingency fee basis, and shareholders pay no fees or expenses.
Robbins LLP describes itself as a shareholder rights litigation firm. The firm states it has been dedicated since 2002 to helping shareholders recover losses, improve corporate governance structures, and hold company executives accountable.
