To facilitate the resettlement of residents for the site clearance (GPMB) of the Tu Lien Bridge and Tran Hung Dao Bridge projects, Hoang Ha Ward People's Committee has proposed Hanoi's City People's Committee to adopt certain special policies. Regarding the GPMB for the Tu Lien Bridge and Tran Hung Dao Bridge projects, a representative of Hoang Ha Ward People's Committee said the temporary accommodation support policy of three months is too short for residents to finish building new homes. Meanwhile, many households are in difficulty; renting external housing is time-consuming and costly. In particular, relocation affects work and children's schooling as the school year has not ended yet. Therefore the ward proposed extending the temporary accommodation support period for some households in hardship. In addition, Hoang Ha Ward People’s Committee requested Hanoi City to help for some special cases, including households with other houses in the area but area too small (below 20-30 m2, below Hanoi's 50 m2 regulation) to ensure fairness in the resettlement policy. A resident kept the house number as a memory after handing over the cleared land for Tu Lien Bridge construction. For the Thanh Loi Hotel staff dormitory area consisting of 36 households, the Hoang Ha Ward representative said this is the first model dismantling area. However, since the housing is state-owned and not yet sold to people, compensation for the project is very low, causing residents to lack funds when buying relocated land in Thuy Lam. 'The ward is compiling to propose to the city for additional support,' the ward representative said. Hoang Ha Ward has also sent a letter to Thu Lam Commune People's Committee about coordinating GPMB for the Tu Lien and Tran Hung Dao projects. It notes that beside the resettlement plots NO20, NO21 there is a cemetery about 30 meters away. Therefore, to ensure urban landscape, Hoang Ha Ward asks Thu Lam Commune to direct the relevant offices to invest in upgrading the cemetery area, ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful living space for residents. The ward asks Thu Lam Commune to speed up GPMB for plots NO15, NO16, provide progress updates, and complete technical infrastructure to the Hoang Ha Ward People's Committee to timely inform residents...
