TH True Milk has been named Green Enterprise — Net Zero Action at the World Energy and Environment Forum Vietnam 2026, held on July 8. According to the forum organizers, TH is among ten companies honored for advancing a green economy model, driving technological innovation, improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and developing sustainable production and business models. The selection drew on local nominations and references to the World Energy Council Vietnam (WEC-VN) toolkit and documentation, and was evaluated by independent experts.
Since its founding in 2009, Labour Hero Thai Huong, founder of TH Group, has pursued a sustainable development path rooted in science and technology and governance principles, combining innovation with respect for nature to deliver natural products, improve public health, and create long-term value for society.
Thai Huong’s philosophy has been realized through a series of closed-loop projects in agriculture, dairy farming, and food processing to use resources efficiently, save energy, and reduce emissions. The group states that greenhouse gas emissions are calculated according to the international GHG Protocol and updated in line with IPCC guidelines. Member units monitor emission indicators and implement reduction solutions, helping reduce emission intensity per unit of product year on year. In 2023 and 2024, TH Dairy JSC and Nui Tiên Pure Water Company achieved carbon neutrality certification by independent body Control Union.
In addition, TH has accelerated the use of renewable energy through rooftop solar power on its dairy farms. In 2025, total solar production reached over 14.7 million kWh, contributing to a reduction of more than 9,700 tonnes of CO2 annually. Energy intensity at the dairy plant also fell by 25%, from 0.14 in 2023 to 0.105 in 2025, thanks to energy-efficiency measures.
The group has also invested in advanced wastewater treatment, recycling biological sludge and livestock waste to produce organic fertilizer and bedding materials. TH says these solutions help cut methane emissions by at least 70% compared with conventional methods.
In packaging, TH has implemented several plastic-reduction initiatives, such as using biodegradable yogurt spoons since 2018, a 50% reduction in spoons accompanying yogurt multipacks since 2022, and optimized packaging design. Specifically, Nui Tiên Pure Water Plant reduces nearly 600 tonnes of plastic annually by eliminating shrink wrap on caps and by reducing label thickness and bottle weight.
The World Energy and Environment Forum Vietnam 2026 is a national forum on energy, environment, and the green transition, with government leaders in attendance and nearly 500 delegates. The event also featured the 'Green Path — Net Zero Vietnam' exhibition, bringing together more than 50 booths showcasing models, technologies, and green initiatives from businesses and localities nationwide.
A TH representative notes that the ongoing publication of the Sustainability Development Report under the GRI standard since 2018 discloses ESG indicators across six pillars: nutrition and health, education, environment, community, people, and animal welfare, and is audited by independent bodies to ensure transparency and accountability. Industry observers say the program aligns with international standards, including the GHG Protocol and IPCC guidelines, and independent audits support transparency and accountability.
