Almost 80 securities firms have published their Q1 financial reports. As of the morning of April 21, 77 securities firms had disclosed their Q1 2026 financial statements.
VNDirect Securities posted Q1 pre-tax profit (LNTT) up 42% year-on-year to 681 billion VND. Vietcap Securities reported Q1 pre-tax profit of 404 billion VND, up 14%.
Other double- and triple-digit gainers in the first quarter included ACB Securities with Q1 pre-tax profit of 303 billion VND, Saigon-Hanoi Securities at 280 billion VND, Mirae Asset Securities at 247 billion VND, and Vietcombank Securities at 100 billion VND.
Despite the overall gains, several firms reported declines. Nhất Việt Securities reported Q1 pre-tax profit down 20% to 32 billion VND. OCB Securities reported pre-tax profit fell 95% to just over 300 million VND.
Phú Hưng Securities saw Q1 pre-tax profit down 76% to 5 billion VND, while SmartMind Securities recorded an 81% drop to 22 billion VND.
Some securities firms posted losses in the first three months: T-Cap Securities (loss of 20 billion VND), Kiến Thiết Securities (loss of 9 billion VND), Finhay Securities (loss of 6 billion VND), and ASEAN Securities (loss of 31 billion VND).
