Against a backdrop of persistent global economic uncertainty—ranging from inflation pressures and high capital costs to geopolitical shifts and disrupted supply chains—Vietnam’s business environment is becoming more complex. Growth is no longer driven only by expanding scale; it increasingly depends on the quality of leadership and the ability to make decisions under uncertainty while maintaining a long-term orientation. In this context, Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) will continue hosting the ACB Leadership Summit 2026 under the theme “How to Be Bold – Leadership in Turbulent Times,” led by Professor Ranjay Gulati of Harvard Business School.
ACB positions the Leadership Summit as an in-depth dialogue platform for senior leaders in the business community, rather than a venue focused on theory. Chairman Tran Hung Huy describes the summit as an “in-tune” state, where leaders come together not only to exchange ideas but also to create resonance in thinking and action.
According to ACB, the summit’s agenda has evolved over time. While earlier discussions centered on strategy and growth, the focus has shifted toward core issues such as organizational culture, execution capability, and the leadership role in sustaining long-term competitive advantage. The program emphasizes a non-formula approach, encouraging participants to question assumptions that have long appeared correct in business operations.
Attendees view the summit’s main value as the opportunity for frank, open dialogue among leaders. Tran Duy Minh Khoa, Vice Chairman of Duy Tan Plastic Recycling Joint Stock Company, said the most impressive aspect is the “unlimited curiosity” among participants, noting that leaders openly share and even dissect their own companies’ practices, including governance tools such as the attribute map.
He added: “More than 130 leaders—but no one is afraid to share know-how; they are very open about their experiences.”
ACB highlights that leadership demands are no longer limited to a single person. Instead, leaders are expected to transform lessons into action. The summit is designed as a continuation of ongoing learning, with a structure centered on dialogue, critical thinking, and adjusting perspectives.
For 2026, ACB describes the summit as a 1.5-day learning and dialogue journey addressing core questions of modern governance, including defining competitive edges amid rapid change, improving decision quality, and building organizations capable of long-term adaptation. Rather than a standard conference format, the program uses real-world scenarios and multi-dimensional discussions intended to generate insights applicable to business operations.
ACB Leadership Summit 2026 will take place on May 18–19, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
