Stock markets fluctuated in the early afternoon, but gains from large-cap stocks helped the VN-Index rebound. At the close on April 23, the VN-Index rose 13 points to 1,870. Liquidity remained high, with turnover on HOSE around 29 trillion dong.
Foreign investors were net sellers, with about 1.71 trillion dong sold.
On HOSE, foreigners were net sellers of 1.655 trillion dong.
On the buy side, PVT was the top stock purchased by foreigners on HOSE, with value over 72 billion dong. Following were VNM and DCM, bought 54 billion and 33 billion respectively.
By contrast, FPT continued to be the largest net seller among foreigners, at 265 billion dong. Followed by ACB and VHM, which were sold 176 billion and 171 billion dong.
On HNX, foreigners were net sellers by 43 billion dong.
On the buy side, IDC was net bought the strongest, at 26 billion dong. Also, NRC was next with 0.8 billion dong net bought on HNX. Additionally, foreigners spent several billion to accumulate VTZ, DXP, NFC.
On UPCOM, foreigners were net sellers by 13 billion dong.
On the buy side, VEA was bought by foreigners for 1.5 billion dong. Followed by MSR and MML, each bought by foreigners for a few hundred million dong.
