BIM Group and Aeonmall Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement on May 11 to develop Aeon Mall Da Nang Hoa Xuan, a new shopping center in Da Nang. The project is planned with a gross floor area of more than 120,000 square meters.
The center will occupy a land area of about 101,800 square meters. Total built floor area is estimated at about 126,740 square meters, with an estimated investment of approximately 4.381 trillion dong (about 192.5 million USD).
Aeon Mall Da Nang is located on public urban service land within the Da Nang sports, entertainment and commerce complex in Hoa Xuan ward, Da Nang city. The area is intended for development into a new urban hub supported by rapid urbanization and infrastructure investment.
The new Aeon Mall is described as the first time both sides will develop a shopping center in central Vietnam. It also represents the next step in a collaboration that has continued for more than a decade, following Aeon Mall Ha Dong in Hanoi.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Doan Quoc Huy, Chairman and General Director of BIM Group, said that over more than ten years the two sides have built a solid cooperative relationship based on a long-term vision and shared values. He added that the project is expected to become a meaningful component in Da Nang’s urban space, bringing additional experiences, services, jobs, and community gathering points.
From Aeonmall Vietnam, General Director Isobe Daisuke said he highly values BIM Group’s project development capability and the spirit of collaboration. He stated that, on this basis, the project is expected to become a destination for shopping, entertainment and modern experiences in Da Nang, contributing to raising the city’s urban appearance and improving local community quality of life.
Over more than three decades of development, BIM Group has partnered with international brands to complete key components across urban, resort and large-scale commercial destinations. The group operates major projects in Hanoi, Ha Long and Phu Quoc.
Through BIM Land, the group pursues a real estate strategy focused on building a sustainable operating ecosystem in which commerce, services, tourism and communities grow together over the long term.
In addition to Aeon Mall Da Nang Hoa Xuan, BIM Land has recently developed Thanh Phu Centre Point, positioned as a trading hub at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City’s western district. The project integrates a system of retail and service amenities designed as a core part of the city’s operating framework.
