On the morning of April 13, 2026, Bình Sơn Refinery Joint Stock Company (BSR) held its 2026 annual general meeting in Ho Chi Minh City. The company deployed an electronic voting system alongside the live meeting to allow shareholders to vote on board proposals quickly and transparently.
According to the business results report, in 2025 BSR recorded consolidated revenue of VND 143,542 billion, up 15%, and after-tax profit of VND 5,217 billion, up 783%.
For 2026, BSR set consolidated revenue targets of VND 154,140 billion, up about 9%. Net profit for 2026 is expected to be VND 2,162 billion, down nearly 60%, with the company stating it will focus resources on upgrading and expanding the plant.
At the meeting, the board proposed renaming the company to reposition its position in the oil and gas value chain. The proposed name is “Vietnam National Petrochemical and Refinery Corporation” (Công ty cổ phần - Tổng Công ty Lọc hóa dầu Việt Nam).
BSR also provided gifts to shareholders attending in person, including an electronic gift card valued at VND 500,000 and a bottle of water. The gift card can be used flexibly to purchase goods or redeem services across many partner networks of the issuing entity.
