Central Retail Vietnam (CRV) was honored by the Golden Dragon Awards 2026 organizers as one of the Top 10 Sustainable Development Enterprises for 2025–2026. Olivier Langlet, General Director of Central Retail Vietnam, said they are proud to receive the Rồng Vàng 2026 award, especially in the Top 10 Sustainable Development Enterprises 2025–2026 category. This recognition provides valuable encouragement to the CRV team to continue implementing the Better for Vietnam strategy with three pillars: promoting domestic products, leading in food quality, and becoming a leading sustainable retailer in Vietnam. With the GO!, Tops Market, mini go! networks, the group actively supports livelihoods and promotes green consumption, contributing to the prosperity and improved quality of life of Vietnamese people. CRV’s achievements stem from value creation across the supply chain, local supplier ecosystems, retail spaces, and environmental responsibility. The group reduces CO2 emissions by a total of 40,000 tons per year through multiple green initiatives such as installing solar power at 34 shopping centers (average 14% electricity savings), a centralized distribution model that reduces delivery points and optimizes transport distances, and smart technologies deployed across the network. Four CRV shopping centers have achieved international green building certification under the EDGE standard of the World Bank Group. In particular, since early 2026 CRV completed a 100% switch to biodegradable bags at all checkout counters across GO!, Tops Market, and mini go! nationwide while encouraging customers to bring their own bags or use free paper bags to reduce plastic waste from everyday shopping. Sustainable development in retail is inseparable from stabilizing output and improving farmers livelihoods. Each year CRV directly purchases about 60,000 tons of agricultural produce from more than 500 local suppliers. The Community Livelihoods program (L4C) supports nearly 500 farming households, while nationwide CSR activities reach 32,000 beneficiaries.
