Summer 2026, Da Nang is reaffirming its position as one of Vietnam’s leading seaside tourism destinations through a series of events under the banner “Brilliant Summer,” scheduled from April 25 to May 3, 2026. The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that over nine days, the city will host 19 activities at East Sea Park, the Son Tra Peninsula, and Da Nang’s coastal beaches.
The program is part of Da Nang’s ongoing effort to attract visitors and promote the city’s image as dynamic, safe, and rich in visitor experiences. Over the course of the event period, activities are planned across multiple locations along the coast and in the Son Tra area.
This year’s coastal tourism season features five new activities to be held for the first time:
Alongside the five new activities, Da Nang will also organize 14 events that have been held for years and have built a recognizable brand. Examples mentioned include art kite performances, international beach rescue competitions, the summer swim race “Over the Waves,” and the “King of Chess” tournament in the Quảng region.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the full schedule runs from April 25 to May 3, 2026, with 19 activities planned across East Sea Park, the Son Tra Peninsula, and Da Nang’s central coastal beaches.
To ensure safety and improve the visitor experience, Da Nang has stepped up lifeguard services, security, environmental hygiene, and upgrades to public facilities at the central beaches. Beach entertainment venues and the tourism service system have also been upgraded.
With detailed preparation and a diverse lineup of activities—especially the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Summer Beach Tourism 2026—the event is expected to be memorable, drawing large numbers of visitors and reinforcing Da Nang’s image as a dynamic, safe, and experience-rich coastal destination. The program is also positioned as more than a holiday, offering unique experiences for visitors to enjoy with family and friends.
