Da Nang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched the “Top 100 Touchpoints in Da Nang” program, an initiative designed to share memorable moments about the city not only through famous destinations, but also through experiences, emotions, and personal stories.
On April 11, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the program is “not merely a list of well-known places.” Instead, it is described as a “living map of experiences,” where each touchpoint represents a story, an emotion, and a unique experience.
Rather than following traditional approaches, the program broadens the concept of “touchpoints” to include experiences that help visitors truly feel Da Nang’s beauty and spirit. These range from nature, cuisine, culture, and people to local life and quiet moments that linger in memory.
A key feature of the program is active community participation. Local residents, visitors, businesses, and content creators can submit proposals and vote online on the program’s official platform. Organizers said this is intended to create a diverse map of experiences while encouraging creativity and community engagement.
From community proposals, the program will select representative touchpoints and group them into six main experience categories:
According to the plan, the program will be implemented in three phases in 2026:
Organizers said the program will not rank or compare proposed activities. Instead, it will focus on spreading representative experiences recorded and favored by the community. The same touchpoint may appear in multiple spaces, creating opportunities for businesses, organizations, and the community to develop related tourism products and services.
Da Nang is described as an attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors, supported by its natural beauty and rich culture. Through the program, organizers said Da Nang aims to share not only places to visit, but also what is worth feeling, remembering, and returning for—positioning the initiative as a communications and tourism promotion activity in 2026.
The “Top 100 Touchpoints in Da Nang” is presented as a journey of discovery and connection, with each touchpoint contributing to a broader picture of the city—beautiful in scenery and rich in culture and human warmth.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
