Macworld, citing information from Apple’s supply chain, reports that the Pro version of the iPhone 18 is expected to add a new color option called “Dark Cherry,” described as a wine-red shade with a soft yet sophisticated look.
The new “Dark Cherry” tone is most likely to replace “Cosmic Orange,” a color that drew attention on the iPhone 17 line.
Apple is also reportedly testing additional color options for the Pro lineup, including a pale blue reminiscent of “Mist Blue” from the iPhone 17 standard model, as well as dark gray and silver tones similar to other existing shades.
Because the devices have not yet entered mass production, any of these color choices could still change.
On design, the iPhone 18 Pro is described as unlikely to receive a radical redesign, but rather a refinement. The Dynamic Island is predicted to shrink, which would expand display space when interactive features are not in use. The seam between the back glass and the camera module could also be made neater.
Display sizes are rumored to remain close to current expectations: the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to be around 6.3 inches, while the Pro Max is expected to be around 6.9 inches.
The iPhone 18 Pro is rumored to use the A20 Pro chip, described as the first processor in Apple’s lineup built on TSMC’s 2nm process. It is also expected to be paired with Apple’s C2 modem, which is said to improve performance and power efficiency, while also enhancing 5G connectivity.
The Pro Max variant is rumored to feature a larger battery capacity of around 5,200mAh.
Camera upgrades are also expected. The iPhone 18 Pro is likely to allow adjusting the aperture on the main 48MP sensor, giving users control over the amount of light entering the sensor for different shooting conditions. The front camera could be upgraded to 24MP.
Alongside the September launch this year, Apple is also expected to announce its first foldable iPhone, tentatively called the “iPhone Ultra.” Early predictions suggest the iPhone Ultra will have a relatively limited color palette, including tones such as silver, white, and navy.
Separately, the standard iPhone 18 and the iPhone 18e variant may be pushed back to 2027.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
