17a-4, LLC announced that DataParser now supports Yext Relate, adding capabilities designed to help organizations capture and retain text messaging for regulatory compliance and data governance.
DataParser is described as a flexible connector solution that collects data from communication platforms—including chat, messaging, files, and collaborative tools—and formats, filters, and delivers it for integration with archival systems, blob storage, eDiscovery, and supervision platforms.
The company said the integration with Yext Relate enables businesses to automatically archive, monitor, and preserve chat communications in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including SEC and FINRA recordkeeping rules, as well as GDPR data protection and retention requirements.
17a-4 said DataParser operates without agents or plugins, aiming to support secure, non-intrusive data collection with minimal impact on end-user experience. The solution also includes configurable options intended to tailor data capture to compliance and governance needs, along with support for multiple output formats and compatibility with archiving vendors.
According to the announcement, DataParser is deployed globally and is designed for a verifiable chain of custody and regulatory compliance. Common use cases listed include archiving data for SEC/FINRA compliance, security, HR, remote work, IP, and legal or business policies.
The company said DataParser supports delivery to archive or storage platforms including Microsoft 365 Purview, Google Vault, Mimecast, MessageWatcher, AWS, Azure Blob, and SharePoint.
17a-4 stated that financial firms, government agencies, education, energy, and healthcare organizations use DataParser.
